LIVING VICARIOUSLY ;)

Wouldn't it be great to be able to live in the shoes of another person?

I'm always hearing people say something like "my kids don't know how good they have it" or "can you believe how that family lives" or "I wish that could have been me".

O.k., I admit I have been one to make such proclamations and such. But, when I really look at my life....I've got it good.? As a matter of fact, I am in Chicago right now with my husband and son being able to take in the sights and sounds of an awesome city all because my son made the Men's National Honor Choir. Sure, I helped raise him, put my time in as far as that goes, but I am totally riding on his coattails on this one. I mean...I can't sing. Trust me when I say this...my daycare kids even tell me to please sing with a quiet voice lol. This is not the first trip I have been on because of his vocal or musical abilities. Oklahoma City and Minneapolis were also host cities for numerous honor choirs. ACDA ... American Choir Directors Association organizes these choirs. They do a great job bringing out the best of these young people. And the kids meet some of the best kids and clinitians to work with. It's awesome.

Now for other coattail trips...the coup de grais...BELIZE!!!! My husband gained favor with one of the organizers of Lobsterfest in San Pedro, Belize on Ambergris Kaye. The band my husband is part of, The Fat Cats, traveled amd played ddown there and family was able to tag along beimg totally spoiled by the staff of the resort we stayed at.

Hey...it's good to be me :) Back to the trip at hand... We are being housed at the Palmer House Hilton. Going to be leaving soon to attend a free Chantaclear concert. Food....the choices...hmmmm. Well I certainly love to eat. Yummy!

Yup, I like living vicariously...sort of...or, at the very least I like the benefits that comes with hanging with talented people.

Hey honey...Next trip...Europe, please ;)
